Legends of Eisenwald

Looks like an interesting game.  It is supposed to be a mix of both an RPG and RTS.  I think the best part of it is the start of their video in which they look like they came from a some crazy renaissance festival.  All in all it looks like it may be an interesting game if they end up getting the funding.  They are almost halfway to their goal.

Leisure Suit Larry!

Sure it's not my first choice of the old sierra adventure games to be remade but I won't complain.  If you didn't know what leisure suit larry was or you only checked out the last two creations that used it's name then make sure you read more about it here and here. (Disregard the last two Larry games)

This will be a remake of the first Leisure Suit Larry (Which actually had it's own remake) and has some veteran Sierra folks involved including the creater of Leisure Suit Larry, Al Lowe.  This will be fun to see how it turns out in the end so make sure you watch this one.  I hope it does well myself as maybe we can get some more old Sierra series going again.  Also Telltale is supposed to be rebooting Kings Quest which will be neat to see how that turns out (They have done a Monkey Island series)

Shadowrun down to four days

The Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter is down to only four more days.  They have gotten their funding (and then some).  During this writing they are at $1,451,513.  Watching both the Wasteland and Doublefine kickstarters I noticed that they gained during the last day or so.  I could really see them doing the same and getting past 2 million.

If  you don't know what Shadowrun is or the return of it is I will give a little background.  Shadowrun started out as a pen and paper RPG and then later was made into a fun RPG for both the Sega Genesis and SNES.  Later a FPS was published by Microsoft that really was well not what at least many were hoping for.  We now have what could turn out to be a fun RPG.  Shadowrun is a kind of cyberpunk futurisic setting also with magic.

I think we have a very interesting game showing up on KickStarter that for any classic gamer should excite them.  Of course it has been there for awhile now but no reason not to talk about the wonderful game of Wasteland.  For those who have never heard of this epic game then you are in for a treat.  It spawned the Fallout series which is a favorite of mine.  Now the original Fallout games were made by Interplay for those who may not know and the person involved in this is none other then Interplay founder Brian Fargo.  With games during that peroid such as Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment I hope for the best.

Oh make sure you watch their videos.

Wasteland 2 - inXile
Well first post.  I just want to look at various Kickstarter.com projects.  When I see one I find interesting (most likely to do with gaming but others will do) I will post about it.
